MY WORK

My day job entails helping business comply with environmental regulations.  After beginning my career in Fortune 500 industry, I started the firm Compliance Plus to help companies understand and efficiently meet complex regulatory requirements.

I have have been an elected water official for over 20 years and am currently  President of the Board for SCV Water.   SCV Water is a public state water contractor providing water to the Santa Clarita Valley in Los Angeles County, California.  A highlight of my board career was bringing community stakeholders together to support the historic state legislation that formed SCV Water.

I also serve as a boardmember for the SCV Groundwater Sustainability Agency, a Joint Powers Authority tasked with implementing State water  sustainability mandates.

Everything else

Besides work and water, I write about public policy.  I'm the queen to my princess (daughter Emma) and manage a herd of three rescue dogs. My husband Tom is also a business owner, running SCV German Car Service.  Whenever possible we play in the dirt, camping in the West's wide open spaces.
